Preston College Solar Project

Our next installation is a 467 kWp solar array at Preston College. The project will generate clean power for the campus, reduce electricity costs and cut carbon emissions. A community share offer will launch later this year, giving local people the chance to invest in and co‑own the scheme.

Have a large rooftop or site in Preston? We’re looking for organisations with suitable roof space, partners interested in local energy delivery and institutions supporting skills and local supply chains. CEP can install solar panels with no capital investment from the host. We provide the funding and manage pre‑construction, installation and ongoing operations. Hosts buy the electricity at a discounted rate through a long‑term agreement, gaining cost certainty and meeting climate commitments. Contact us to discuss how community energy could work for your building.
