Robin holds an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Lancashire and brings practical sector expertise in delivering low-carbon renewable energy solutions. Previously, Robin was part of the net zero team at Together Housing Association, where he was responsible for driving one of the UK’s pioneering solar-plus-storage pilot projects in the social housing sector. This programme deployed solar photovoltaic panels and on-site battery storage across 250 homes in Lancashire, enabling significant carbon savings and household energy bill reductions, while establishing a demonstrator model for scalable renewable deployment in existing social housing stock.
Robin has a wide network of local authorities, strategic community projects and local manufacturer supply chain from his time as Lancashire Area Lead in the NW Net Zero Hub and continues to work there on solar and wind modelling.
